Sri. Dundigalla
Venugopal Guruswamy, known to many as Padayatra Guruswamy, is a
humble, soft spoken, ever helpful, person, whose deep religious and
spiritual outlook coupled with boundless energy, have enabled him to
undertake several pilgrimages across India, regularly. |
|

Born on Jun 06, 1937
as the third son of Sri Dundigalla Raghavalu and Smt. Damayanti, in
Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, India, Sri Venugopal had his education
upto P.U.C at Warangal and subsequently underwent the health
inspector training at Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad. |

He worked in the
Andhra Pradesh Government Public Health Department at Hyderabad, as
a Health Inspector for 13 years and was on a deputation to Indian
Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited (IDPL), Hyderabad, before retiring
in 1993 as a Public Health Sanitary Executive.

His wife Smt. Vimala,
daughter of Sri Kancharla lakshminrarayana garu and Smt. Ratnamma has been
a constant support of his ideals and his achievements. They are
blessed with two sons Sri. Raghu Ram and Sri.Sai Ram. |
